Event Weekend Details:

If selected, you and your family, caregiver, significant other, friend or helper will get to spend the weekend at no cost at our beautiful barrier-free lodge with living quarters and all the amenities needed to make any visitor feel welcome and secure. Specially designed hunting blinds with groomed trails and assistance from skilled guides will afford easy access and functionality for any type of wheelchair or adaptive equipment.

Eligibility Requirements:

Our non-profit is centered around physically challenged individuals (meaning they are either wheelchair-bound or depend on another type of assistive device). This does not minimize or invalidate any other disabilities individuals may have, but rather reflects the criteria established for this particular program.

Those who meet one of the following eligibility requirements may be considered for a weekend. However, meeting the requirements does not automatically mean you will be selected as space is limited.

  • Those who have been issued permits to hunt from a standing vehicle or are eligible to be issued a permit (hunting specific)

  • Those who are legally blind.

  • Other considerations may be made at Hunt 2 Heal’s discretion.
